A favorite summer hang-out amongst Savannahians and her visitors, is our very own Tybee Island.  Located just 18 miles from Savannah, Tybee is a quiet seaside village offering a 3 mile stretch of beach, perfect for sun lovers, beachcombers and water babies. Tybee Island is a wonderful combination of residential and resort living.  Dotted along the southern beachside is an array of modern, oceanfront hotels and condominiums, fine eateries, bars, nightclubs and the Tybee Pavillion, a tremendous addition to the beach front.  The pavillion offers a pier for fishing enthusiasts, perfect moon light strolls and the occasional festival or live band.  Set on Tybee's north beach is historic Fort Screven featuring the Tybee Lighthouse and museum, homes along Officer's Row, as well as, charming beach cottages.
